Extra Curricular

Extra-curricular life is extremely important to the development of a well-rounded pupil and we pride ourselves on the diverse range of activities, trips and tours that are available to the boys.

Tours have recently included a choir trip to Prague and a football tour to Barcelona. Our cricket team plan to jet off to Barbados in 2009.

Clubs

The school runs a variety of After School Clubs for the boys. Some examples of current clubs are as follows:

Trips

A variety of educational trips are organised for the boys each term to places of interest, both in and around London.

Field trips for boys moving up from the Junior to the Senior Department of the school are also organised. This is an important transition phase for the boys and Willington is keen to find ways of strengthening the bonding process between the boys at this key moment in their school career.

From time to time, the school also organises tours abroad, which are an excellent cultural experience for the boys. Some past tours include Choir Tours to Belgium and Prague, Football Tours to Amsterdam and Barcelona, a Cricket Tour to Barbados and regular tours to France.

After-school Provision

If parents are unable to collect promptly at 4.00pm, Late Class provision is available for the boys on a daily basis from 4.00pm - 5.00pm under the supervision of a teacher.

The school offers a daily minibus service (before and after school) to assist in the transportation of boys living in the Putney area. There is a small additional cost involved for this service.
