World Book Day 2022
Raising Funds for UNICEF
As our pupils dressed up for World Book Day, the comparisons were sharply drawn with the days unfolding for children in Ukraine, and other conflicts across the world. We were humbled by the response from the Willington community as we launched a Justgiving page to support UNICEF.
For World Book Day, funds were raised in excess of £1,700 for UNICEF and we continue to signpost families to our Justgiving page (see below). As one anonymous donor stated, "may our children never have to suffer like those in Ukraine".
