It was all Yellow around the building and in Assembly on Monday as the school came together to shine a bright light on World Mental Health Day. #helloyellow established by the Young Minds charity is an organisation we have supported for a number of years. They do a great job breaking the taboo of mental health awareness in a way that children and young people can relate to. Workshops followed in lessons and PSHEE lessons this week and our Mental Health champions have been busy checking in with children. Items adorned by the children and teachers included bow ties, very bright leggings, sweatbands and one or two Liverpool away shirts. If you looked closely there may have been a vintage Blackburn away shirt circa 1989 on show too! Thank you for your donations which will all go to help fund this great charity.
