There is no specific type of boy at Willington and nor do we teach in a prescribed, formulaic way.
A Willington boy loves life and is supported by teaching staff that hold true to the school's motto non scholae sed vitae discimus - we do not learn for school, but for life.
We do not teach for the sake of passing tests, but to engender a love of learning and an academic curiosity and rigour in our boys.
We understand that each pupil may learn at a different pace, or in a different way to others. Our exceptional results and success at 13+ are a testament to this approach.
