Digital Detectives & Inspiring Adventures

Highlights from w/c 19 January 2026
This week at Willington Prep our pupils embraced the skills of a modern learner. In assembly, we explored Internet Safety Day by becoming real-life “digital detectives”, learning how to tell what’s real and what’s not online — a vital skill in today’s world. Meanwhile, pupils across the year groups enjoyed experiences beyond the classroom. Nursery visited the Polka Theatre, Year 4 took part in a gymnastics outing, and Year 6 had an exciting trip to Brooklands Museum — complete with a fascinating walk through Concorde. Back at school, the Headmaster visited the BETT Exhibition to see the latest in education technology, including innovations that combine Lego with computer science and AI. Looking ahead, we’re all excited for Epsom Strings Day and upcoming outdoor learning and museum visits for Reception and Year 2 and Year 3.
