At Willington Prep, our Learning in Balance philosophy sits alongside a long tradition of innovation. As we celebrate 140 years of educating children, our new Lego Room captures both our heritage and our forward-looking approach.

Positioned at the heart of the school, with its light-filled mezzanine, this space brings together the timeless appeal of building with the modern possibilities of engineering, robotics and creative problem-solving. LEGO’s blend of tradition and innovation mirrors our own: a simple, enduring concept that continues to inspire new ideas.

Children of all ages use the room to explore, collaborate and think boldly. LEGO-lined walls and flexible worktops invite them to design, test, and refine their ideas—developing fine-motor skills, spatial awareness and confidence, all within a hands-on environment.
