Our Willington week ended with a fantastic whole-school Sports Day, filled with determination, teamwork and plenty of house spirit. From Nursery through to Year 6, children gave their all in a wide range of events, cheered on by parents, staff and friends. The afternoon was a wonderful celebration of participation, resilience and sporting endeavour, perfectly reflecting Willington’s commitment to encouraging every child to challenge themselves and enjoy being active.

Thanks as always to POW (Parents of Willington) for all the drinks and refreshments and for sponsoring the terrific post-sports day activities, free of charge, for the children. It was a wonderful, memorable, community afternoon.
