Curiosity, Creativity & Community at Willington

Highlights from w/c 26 January 2026
This week at Willington was full of memorable moments, including a fascinating assembly led by Mr Forsyth, who enthralled the children with a myth-busting talk on sharks and their importance to ocean ecosystems. The children were captivated and left with plenty to think about. Music was a highlight too, as our string players enjoyed a Strings Day at Epsom College, performing and learning alongside pupils from other schools.
Learning beyond the classroom continued across the school: Nursery, Reception and Year 2 made the most of outdoor learning opportunities, Year 3 enjoyed an visit to the Science Museum, and Reception explored the wonders of the Royal Observatory.
Looking ahead, POW have launched bookings for their much-anticipated Quiz Night on 6 March, including a silent auction, and Willington are holding an upcoming parent webinar on digital wellbeing with Dr Kathy Weston — a valuable opportunity for guidance and reflection.
