FESTIVAL OF LESSONS & CAROLS
Our Annual Celebration held on Wednesday 7th December
It was standing room only in St Mark's Church for our annual Festival of Lessons and Carols, conducted by Director of Choristers, Mr Scott Inglis-Kidger.
This traditional celebration commenced with a solo of “Once in Royal David’s City” by Tom in Year 8, who then led the rest of our Choristers and Men’s Choir into the church. There were readings from Senior School boys and the Year 4 boys sung the French carol "Mon Beau Sapin" under the expert tutelage of our French Teacher, Miss Veloso. Willington Voices, our Choir drawn from the wider School community also performed and the congregation joined all the choirs in the traditional carols that herald this time of year.
Our thanks go to Rev Clive Gardner, the teachers, parents and boys of Willington for making it such a memorable occasion.
