An example of a day in the Pre-Prep (Reception to Year 2).

Arrival and Registration

Children arrive from 8.00am and Registration is at 8.20am.

Lessons take place in the children's classrooms and are taught by their class teachers. All pupils receive specialist teaching in Music, Computing, French, PE and Games.

Break and Snacks

The children have a mid-morning break around 10.40am where milk or water is provided and the children bring in their own healthy snack such as fruit or a cereal bar. In the Reception class, fruit is prepared for the children to make their own selection.

From the second half of the Autumn Term 2019, pupils will be served a hot lunch in the School hall. All children will have half an hour to eat and half an hour for play.

The Pre-Prep children have an assembly on Monday and Wednesday afternoons.  Lessons continue in their classrooms, although most days the children will have PE or Games at our playing fields.  These may be timetabled for the morning.  On Thursday, Years 1 to 2 have Swimming.

After School

There is a staggered pick-up time starting with Reception leaving at 3.20pm.
